You are invited to share your own tribute to Doug Engelbart — your impressions, memories, thoughts and inspirations from his life and work. Simply compose and email your tribute To: tribute@dougengelbart.org per the example below. Our system will post it right along with the other incoming tributes here and in the tribute archives here. (See also note about Moderators below)
Subject & Name: The subject line of your email message becomes the title of your tribute. Your email account From: line will not be published, so we ask that you include at the beginning of your message your full name, plus optionally your title, organization, your relationship to Doug, country etc to identify you.

Most formatting, paragraphs, hyperlinks, etc will be preserved. If you attach any photos they will be included in your posted tribute as well.
Footers: If your email account automatically includes an email footer at the end that you don’t want included in your post, you can place at the end after your closing lines a blank line followed by [end]. This [end] plus whatever follows (e.g. the footer) will be ignored and not included in your post. Note that a dashed line of two or more dashes will have the same effect as [end], which some email accounts include for you before the footer.
Moderator: Please note that all messages will be reviewed by one of our Moderators before it is posted (sadly the openness of the web means we have to watch for spam) but we are aiming to get your tributes posted as quickly as possible.
